You need a new air conditioner, but how do you choose which one to buy? Every system is so unique, and you may not know what the differences are.
Options
- Window: They are small, self-contained units that eject heat outdoors. They work well if properly sized for the space they are cooling.
- Portable: Attach the system to a hose vent to discharge exhaust heat. These are noisier, but they are great temporary solutions.
- Split or Ductless: Since the system is broken into a condensing unit and an evaporative unit, it is a great option for multi-unit buildings, as well as homes.
- Central: As the most effective system, this unit uses the same duct work as your heating system.
