How do you know if your radon mitigation system is working? Like your fire alarms and other gas detectors, you may let this very important maintenance chore fall by the wayside, but you shouldn’t. Make it a habit to check this and other alarms on a regular basis.

Though systems vary, your system should have a manometer or an indicator to let you know whether or not your system is operating effectively. Your system should also come with directions that help you interpret your system’s levels of functioning.

If you do not have a radon system in your home, consider testing for radon. If your levels are elevated, have a mitigation system installed.
