Drip. Drip. Drip… Sound familiar? Here are a couple of things you can try to make it less annoying.
- Unscrew the cap on the faucet and clear any little mineral rocks and grit out of the screen. Replace the cap.
- Still dripping? Wrap a wash cloth around the head of the faucet and use a rubber band to secure it in place. This helps reduce the noise while you wait for help.
- Tie a length of string or yarn around the faucet head, leaving one end long enough to rest in the bottom of the sink. Tie that end to a spoon for weight and set it in the sink, so it crosses the path of the drip, then angles away. The drip will hit the string and slide silently down – No more noise!
